february summary

time is flying:

february 4: julia romero's birthday party (with nikki as my date) at the dark room. what a hot and sweaty place. lots of rather tall men.

february 7: orchid dinner (work) at the rainbow room. hours upon hours of oh so unglamorous gift bag stuffing. happy to be at rockefeller center all day/night.

february 17: after work, meet jamie at MObar (the bar on the 35th floor of the mandarin oriental hotel) and proceed on to "date night" (french food, drinks at evelyn lounge, winebar on columbus - drunk date night). funny.

february 18: bones at museum of natural history. see MUNICH. coldest night ever. turkish food with nikki and jamie, followed by crazy night at lotus with ahmed and co.

february 19: mini bowdoin reunion with di, julie, liesl, and andrew. warm foods at cafe orlin (hi, andy keshner), drinks and friendly girls from georgia at the bar at the W hotel on 14th street, drinks at the park bar, food at republic.

february 20: NO WORK on president's day is awesome. blue ribbon bakery with group. accompany andrew on unsuccessful g-star raw and stores on broadway spring jacket shopping trip. coffee at cafe cafe in soho. how amazing is soho.

february 21-23: scarsdale. take care of business.

february 24: jamie visit number 2 (san francisco-new york-dallas-new york-san francisco; i don't know how he gets away with it either). belgian beer bar with nikki, meet jamie's friends at le charlot (the only restaurant on very residential 69th st between madison and park).

february 25: walk around greenwich village/NYU, up to union square, over to the bottom of chelsea. just walking. four course meal with wine pairings at AIX (pros of dating a foodie).

february 26: brunch at JANE. jamie's departure.
