fake orchid

last night nikki and i went to a kitsch thai place on east 9th street - the fake orchid. we sat at an old school desk which we kept hitting our knees on; it wobbled. it was great. there were indeed fake orchids, porcelain bunnies, post cards and drawings posted at random on the walls, and dim pink lighting. the curry was excellent and the wontons had actual crab in them.
